This detailed session walks you through the steps toward becoming a “virtual recruiter” and shows you how to set up working accounts and preferences for some of the tools shown in Part 1: From Data to Intelligence, Recruiting Unplugged.
Participants are invited to submit existing hard-to-source and/or high volume reqs. to be used as actual examples for our clinic.
The following topics are covered with a view to getting you up-and-running immediately after the training. You will uncover how the elite online recruiters:
- Eliminate “web pollution” and online distractions so that maximum effort is given to producing results
- Stay on top of the industry trends and news that impact our profession and individual recruiting assignments
- Monitor companies or individuals for “late-breaking” news that could affect candidate availability and/or applicant behaviors
- Manage recruiting from sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and other social networks in ways that require virtually no “cybersleuthing” skills or ongoing effort
- Automate searches across multiple engines and databases to reduce time and effort spent finding active and passive candidates
As in the previous session, all these things are explained in the context of “virtualization” and “ubiquity” or access to people, files, data and son with any device, anytime, anyplace, anywhere.
This session is presented by Michael Marlatt, publisher of CloudRecruiting.net, pioneer of “recruiting beyond 2.0,” and one of the most provocative recruiting experts in the business today.
